Fun, Knowledgable driver!We would definitely use Eric at Apex again! Having lived outside of Napa for years, we now live in Chicago and visit wine country with friends at least once a year. We had Eric drive us around on Saturday for tastings. We could not have asked for more.We had our own itinerary but altered it to try some of his recommendations and could not have been happier! He was fun, knowledgable and entertaining! We will definitely use him again for our next trip to wine country!My only questions is about gratuity. We were told it was included and when we paid my husband asked him and he said he got a fee of $75…so it sounded like that was it. Which could not be true since there was a lot added for gratuity and gas when I booked. That must have been gratuity. So my husband and our friend bought him a $75 on top of it out of guilt. Next time I will clarify with Apex prior to the trip. I believe we double tipped and it was an expensive day to begin with. We weren’t sure of our arrival time, so he was waiting for us for about half an hour. Then the day ended with him taking us to a winery he recommended that we had never heard of near our hotel…which put us over time and I got hit with an additional $54 on my card.
