These vintage adequately aged wines are quintessential products of the Napa Valley and the current 2011 vintage is Opus One’s biggest hit yet. The 2011 vintage is described by the Opus One winery as containing “fresh aromas of bright red fruits, bay leaf and cassis give way to subtler notes of black tea and white pepper. Round tannins and creamy texture envelop the familiar flavors of fresh cherry and dark chocolate. This polished and age-worthy wine simultaneously offers a satiny finish and a slight grip of tannin at the close”. This delicious 2011 Vintage will beautifully accent the rolling hills and lush surrounding valleys of the Opus One winery estate.
