Apex Limo is terrific. Our chauffeur, Bruce, was so well versed in wine, from the planting to the harvesting, and from the grape to the wine, that the time spent in the limo was as wonderful as our actual visits to wineries. And his recommendations based upon our preferences were right on. For first timers to the Valley, we could not have been more pleased. We will be back!

And if you have the pleasure of riding with Bruce, be sure to ask to see his music selection; it was fantastic!

Apex saved our bachelorette party! I had booked a limo with a different company months in advance, but two days before the event decided to call and double check everything was in order. Long story short – even though the other place had charged my card, they LOSS my reservation, and didn’t have anything for the weekend. I frantically started calling every other limo service in the area. Most places didn’t have anything and/or had rude representatives answering their phones. Apex was fantastic from beginning to end!

They had a stretch limo available for the date we needed. Their representative was very nice while I made the reservations on the phone and promptly sent me email confirmations/receipts. Our driver was Eric and he was fantastic! Limo was clean and well stocked. Eric was friendly, personable, drove safely and put up with our ridiculous group :). We gave him a list of wineries we wanted to go to, and the rest of the day was care free for us. The little things – like going around and opening the doors for us at each stop and helping us in/out of the limo, making a Starbucks stop for us, and always having a smile on his face – show the pride Eric/Apex take in customer service.

Without a doubt, Apex will be the first company I call if I need a limo in Napa again.

My husband and I hired Apex for a seven hour Napa wine tour and had Eric as our driver.  Eric showed up approximately 15 minutes early for our scheduled pick up and was great the moment we got into his car.  The car was very clean and was stocked full with bottles of water.  We did not give Apex our wine tour itinerary ahead of time, so I had printed out a list of where we were going.  The first winery on the list was a bit tricky to get to, but Eric knew the way.

We really appreciated the way Eric helped us to figure out how to get a lunch in given our schedule was pretty tight.  He took us to a great grocery store that was on the way to our third winery and suggested we grab some sandwiches and have a picnic at our next stop.  Eric was even prepared with a cooler in which we were able to store our food.

Overall we were extremely satisfied with our service and we look forward to using Apex and Eric again during our next Napa trip.

Second round with Apex and I am taking them down a star. Our driver was on-time (5m early) and was a good driver. He was, however, not very personable and approached our party by having us sign lots of waivers first thing, and warning us about fees for getting sick in the car. For the record, we were a party of five 29-30 year-old women, dressed well, going to a couple of wineries. Our driver also seemed NOT to want to take us where we wanted to go. He kept suggesting alternatives – don’t get me wrong, I appreciate suggestions, but please don’t get visibly frustrated when I didn’t want to take them. We had an itinerary for a reason…

Through the course of the day he was fine, but certainly not overly friendly and actually seemed irritated with us on and off. The car was stocked with alcohol and champagne, but not re-stocked or cleaned in our 8H trip (which is fine, we only drank some of the champagne and some water).

In the end, the limo was nice and well-stocked and I appreciate that we had a great day with a safe driver. However, the social/service part could have been better. Also, I checked my credit card and confirmed I’ve been over-charged for the service (they did not take my Yelp deal into account, even though it is written into the contract). I’ll be calling today and assume they’ll make the fix – but this is something to watch for.

Mel was a great driver! $500 for 6 hours. He was very kind, friendly, and entertaining. I must say my friends and I have some pretty funny conversations, especially after wine gets involved. As a fly on the wall, he must see some crazy stuff going down in the backseats of his car. We had one of those 3 row SUVs and it was comfy, clean, and well-stocked with water!

We had reservations at several wineries, so we gave him our itinerary and put our fate in his hands. It was great! He was very punctual and responsive. He picked us up from our hotel in Napa right on time; in fact, he was even a few minutes early! Apex also offers pickup/drop off from SF. There is a $750 fee for any vomit, blood, etc. inside the car, so stay classy people! It is also $50 for every extra hour, but there is a grace period of 15 minutes.

Mel also seemed to know his stuff! We were planning to go to Oakville Grocery to pick up lunch, but he advised we call ahead of time to order because it gets crowded. Maybe next time we would come without having things as planned out just to see what they’d recommend.

As a heads up, the tip is included in the price you pay…. at least according to the company customer service rep, who said 20% of the cost goes to the driver for tip. Mel definitely deserved it! I would use Apex Limo again if I needed driving services!

Ivo was our driver.. He was very kind and took really good care of us. I was clueless when it came to vineyards to visit in Napa and he took us to great locations , cannot complain. He even took us to a great place for a snack, you know after a couple of wine tastings eating is a must.

The quality of the car and our driver were A++
Would definitely do this again and definetly recomend.

Bruce was our driver and he was amazing. Picked us up on time, gave us a history lesson about napa, taught us about different wines and knew interesting facts about each winery we went to. He was very professional, took great pictures for us, and even scoped out possible picture opportunities for when we came out of the wineries. He was helpful, kind, on time and the extremely professional. Ask for Bruce!

As for Apex the company they also had great service. Sent a reminder email and phone call 1-2 days in advance. They were initially very patient and kind on the phone when I had questions. Overall can’t say enough good things. Try them yourself!!

Apex’s services were top notch from beginning to end! We called the day before our trip and luckily they still had some town cars available that were willing to drive us around, despite Bottle Rock being held that weekend. Jill (we believe that’s what her name was) was very easy to work with and got us set up without any hassles!

We got a delightful call from our driver, Paul, about an hour before our pick up time to let us know that he was on his way to our hotel. He ended up getting there 15 minutes before our pickup time, and even though we were a few minutes late he still greeted us with a big, welcoming smile!

Paul was extremely knowledgeable on every winery we went to and even pointed out his top recs as we drove by them. Being that Paul had done over 150 wine tours, we made sure that he gave us a list of wineries to check out the next time we come back! What I really enjoyed about Paul was that he made it a point to make conversation with us and was very engaging throughout our whole trip!

I’m not going to lie…the Asian in me was very hesitant to hire a town car service for the weekend since it’ll cost you a pretty penny. However, at the end of our trip, I couldn’t have been more satisfied with Paul and the overall experience. Paul definitely was one of the highlights of our trip and I would HIGHLY recommend requesting him if you plan on using Apex’s services!
