As a native of the San Francisco Bay Area I’ve been to MANY of the larger well known wineries in Napa.  What I so appreciated about our driver Alex at APEX is he gently nudged our group to go to the smaller estate vineyards, to have the REAL Napa wine tasting experience.

It couldn’t have been a better day!  From the start at James Cole, which was not only a gorgeous facility, phenomenal wine… but with a fantastic wine expert (Ben) to boot.  To squeezing us in to a final winery after 6PM.

Thank you Alex!  I look forward to my next trip to Napa.  The only disappointment of the day was finding out Ben at James Cole isn’t single.

Our experience with Apex was fantastic… from the booking process until our winery tour ended!  All staff we spoke with were professional and courteous and our driver, Alex D, was helpful, friendly and went out of his way to ensure we all had a good time.  We had friends visiting from Australia so we wanted the trip to be special, and it was!

The only concern with our trip is that our friends’ credit card was charged twice.  We brought this to the attention of Apex immediately and the problem was resolved quickly and professionally.

Touring Napa with Alex D. was a wonderful experience.  When we met in the morning he asked questions to determine what we would like to accomplish during our trip.   The wineries he suggested had great wine and knowledgeable people.  He made appointments for tastings.  When we were ready to eat he found the perfect places for what we wanted.  In addition to taking us to places that we truly enjoyed, he shared his wealth of knowledge about the various places we passed.
We had a wonderful day at places we never would have found on our own thanks to Alex.

Two days later, Leo guided us through Sonoma.  After having experienced the small wineries in Napa, we thought we would  avoid large wineries.  Leo set up a library tasting at a large winery.  The wine and the experience were both fantastic.  When we were ready for lunch, he took us to a beautiful winery which offered food and good wine. He took us to several other wineries.  Each one was a  unique experience with delicious wine.
Thanks to Leo our Sonoma experience was as wonderful as our Napa experience.

Both days were a  pleasure.  The cars were beautiful, well stocked with water.   We were able to relax and enjoy our wine tastings without worrying about navigating unfamiliar roads or impaired judgement.  That alone would have made hiring Apex worth it.  Alex and Leo’s knowledge made it the only way to tour wine country.

My Wife and I went to Napa for a long weekend. I asked the reservationist at Apex to provide us a driver who had wine knowledge if possible. Alex D was our driver. He was prompt, attentive and his knowlege fo the valley and the wineries was outstanding. He took us to small boutique wineries with amazing wines, instead of just the big names.

He made the weekend truly enjoayable. He was a great deal of fun. The whole experience, the car, the dirver and the cost was great. I will use Apex every time i go to the bay area and will always request Alex.

My sister and I had a grand time touring Napa with the help of our fun and knowledgeable driver Alex. He arranged for us to see some very unique, small places as well as some larger estates. He tailored his suggestions to our interests and was very intuitive.

I rented a limousine for 3 full days from Apex Limousine on my most recent trip to the Napa Valley. This trip was also special in that we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. I had been extremely unhappy with our last limousine rental in Napa (with a different company) and hoped for a better experience this time. I made our reservations with Nellie and was impressed with her. She listened to my requirements, followed up immediately with e-mail confirmations and was very easy to work with.

Not only did I get a very competitive rate, but our chauffeur (Ed Dauer) went out of his way to make this a very memorable vacation. He listened to our wine preferences and made several suggestions on stops (all of which we enjoyed).  Ed volunteered to be our photographer and took numerous pictures at our wine stops to ensure we had lasting memories. He did everything we asked – including phoning wineries to make appointments, getting and delivering lunch when necessary, ensuring we had plenty of water and just being a pleasant person to be around.

I highly recommend Apex Limousines and in particular Ed as a chauffeur.
